Chemical peelings

Chemical peelings can be divided into three groups: superficial, medium depth and deep. During the various procedures, we apply chemical substances to the skin in order to produce exfoliation.

Fruit acid (glycolic acid) peel

This superficial peeling gently exfoliates the skin, minimizes the size of the pores, rejuvenates the skin, promotes collagen production and reduces the presence of fine lines. This lunchtime treatment can be performed in springtime, or early summer, too. Repeated peelings are required, normally 6-10 sessions.

TCA acid

For a medium depth peel, trichloroacetic acid is the most common agent. TCA acid can remove the outer layer of the skin and penetrate into the connective tissue. TCA peeling is exceptionally good at stimulating new collagen production and improving skin tone and elasticity. It improves pigmented skin, and minimizes enlarged pores, too. Overall, it treats a wide range of skin concerns.

ZO® Skin 3 Step Peeling

A blend of salicylic acid, trichloroacetic acid and lactic acid removes the outer layer of the epidermis. It spectacularly renews the skin, and effectively treats pigment spots.

Red Carpet Peeling, ZO® Skin Health

This treatment requires no recovery time. It creates a brighter, fresher, glowing skin. If you wish to have a perfect look on a certain occasion, schedule this treatment one day ahead of the special event.

Pixel Peeling

This treatment combines micro-needling and a TCA peeling. It delivers excellent results for deep acne scars and chicken pox scars. We usually recommend 4 sessions, every 2-4 weeks.

Recovery time after a chemical peeling depends on the type of treatment. Please, get in touch for more information about our peeling services, including contraindications, as well as post-care treatment instructions.
