In our Pasarét clinic, anybody can have safe and effective treatments to rejuvenate their lips.
HA lip filling
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in the human body, a type of high molecular weight carbohydrate, a major component of several tissues. HA has many important roles, one of which is keeping the skin hydrated by retaining water. Due to the benefits of HA on the skin, it is one of the most widely applied ingredients in cosmetology and aesthetic medicine. Thanks to its significant water-binding capacity, it enables us to correct lip shape and add volume.
HA is a natural component, which is slowly broken down by the body’s own enzymes over 6-9 months. HA is completely safe, compared to non-degradable fillers. Although the procedure must be repeated, it is still considered the safest solution.
Lip filling procedure
HA is administered via a fine injection or cannula into the lips. The right amount of HA is defined previously during the personal consultation, where the treatment plan and the procedure are also discussed. The procedure is quick and since we apply local anaesthetic cream, the pain is minimal. HA is administered into the lips through many injection points, then we distribute it evenly for the desired result with a gentle massage.
